RAILWAY STATION

The Shornur-Cochin Railway line was built in 1900s, by the Cochin Raja ,by selling the gold and valuable things to collect the money. This pathwy to south crossing the Bharatha puzha ,has much role in the development of this region. Mulankunnathukavu Railway station also dates back to that period.
Now as many important institutions are situated here, the importance of this station has gone up.But only passenger trains will be stopped here.
