WATER PRESERVATION

Even though 3 wards in Mulankunnathukavu are hilly areas, surprisingly there are two natural lakes and Dams in this area. Poomala dam is very beautiful and a tourist spot now.
Water preservation is efficiently done here.
The first ‘water shedding’ agriculture techniques was successfully implemented here,which is in Govt. records,as a part of panchayath raj programmes.
